HOT VOX Presents:

Toby Charles – Toby has been writing and playing his own music since he was given his first guitar for his 11th birthday, and since then he has been influenced by a wide spectrum of musical styles and artists. His second EP ‘Spaces in Between’ released on 22/2/19, with tracks ‘Same Old Thing’ ‘Alcohol’ ‘Shades of Green’ and ‘Gracie’ receiving airplay on BBC Introducing, who have also supported his previous releases. With personal lyrics and raw performances, Toby aims to create a very intimate feeling when playing live.

Declan Vink – Leeds-based dream pop singer/songwriter and producer, ‘Declan Vink’ combines dreamy synths, chorused guitars, ethereal violin and blood harmonies to create mellow alternative pop. “It’s not just on record that their sound impresses, their live performance is equally immersive.” – Spotlight Music UK; “Far too talented.” – BBC Radio Leeds

Entropy – combining various genres, including alternative indie, soul and jazz, the band is formed of vocals, keys, violin and cello take particular inspiration from film scores, which can be seen through their use of soulful string arrangements and jazzy vocals. Their ethereal and ambient instrumentals are prominent throughout their music, adding an exciting twist to their already eclectic style.

Deja Blu – a two-piece, dream-pop band from Farnham that started making music in the summer of 2018. Their tracks create dreamy soundscapes with etherial vocals and experimental beats. They have two released tracks and are working on more to release through out the year.

Shannon Hynes – very much inspired by the poignant honesty of the storytelling in country music. Due to the fact she has studied this music for the majority of her life, she has honed her craft in captivating you in her lyrical stories. Taking inspiration from past and present leaders in country music, Shannon plans to demonstrate the deep lonesome of the songs she writes with the balance of the innocence and pure tone her vocal executes.
