Hot Vox presents:

Louis & The Shakes – Picture Alex Turner riding horseback in a Spaghetti Western – with hard hitting Tarantino-like riffs, there’s an essence of indie Western rock in The Shakes’s music, a cinematic & visual approach to the songwriting. Louis croons his tongue & cheek lyrics over their bluesy backdrop, which puts them in the bracket with the likes of The Black Keys, Alexandra Savior And QOTSA.

Big Bad Wolf – East London-based 3-piece Big Bad Wolf’s unique blend of infectious grooves layered up with intricate guitars, topped off with laid back vocals led them to receive rave reviews of their debut album ‘Pond Life’ in Summer 2017 with critics calling it a ‘feel good windows down cruiser’ (AP reviews), ‘sun drenched, blissed out optimism’ (Marlbank) and ‘chill out music with verve’ (Evening Standard).

Marketplace – Hartlepool indie rock band taking influences that spread from bands such as The Cribs and Kings of Leon all the way to Hippo Campus, they have created a sound with driving drums and melodic guitars.

The Grand Nowhere – Brighton indie rock band falling in line with something similar to The Killers or Radiohead or even elements of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.

Music students (ACM, BIMM and ICMP) receive Early Bird ticket price on the door. Valid student photo ID required and entry is subject to capacity.
